Frances F. Hernandez

FRANCES FALCON HERNANDEZ, 90, passed away peacefully from this earthly world on March 6, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born in Skidmore, Texas on May 25, 1923. “Memo” Frances was a homemaker and spent the majority of her life in Corpus Christi raising her family.

Frances is preceded in death by her husband, "Pepo" Santos Hernandez, Sr. and by her son, "Sonny" Jose Guadalupe Hernandez and her parents, Blas and Anna Maria Falcon.

She is survived by her siblings: Joe Falcon and wife, Gema, Palmeda Dubrava, and Reeys Falcon. Also her son, Santos Hernandez, Jr. and his wife, Margarita Hernandez; and also survived by her daughter, Gloria Longbine and her husband, J.D. Longbine. Grandchildren include Cathy Leal and husband Henry, Cyndie Sledge and husband Chuck, Mark Gonzales and wife, Stephanie, Victoria Hernandez, John Albert Hernandez, Ana Covey and husband, Ron. She was also blessed with 14 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 10, 2014, at Holy Family Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
