He is recently preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Maura R. Lara; his parents and numerous siblings.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Guadalupe L. Silvas (Pablo), Irene Flores and Laura Lara; grandchildren, Michael Silvas, Steve Flores Jr. and Nicole Flores along with numerous nieces, nephews and family members and friends.
Francisco was a self-employed ‘Handyman Extraordinaire’. In his younger years he learned the skills to become a painter; using his talent towards his lifelong profession.
Family will be receiving friends at Funeraria del Angel- Memorial Holly on Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
