Franklin C. Earle

Franklin C. Earle, age 72, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away August 31, 2016. Frank was born in El Paso, TX December 5, 1943 to Darwin & Arless Earle. He graduated from Brownsville HS and received his BA from the University of Houston in 1967 after which he worked for the Federal Government in the Social Security Administration until his retirement in 1997. Frank was married to Margaret Ann Raab on July 3, 1965. They loved to travel whenever they could and absolutely adored spending time with their grandchildren. Frank was a long-time member of St. John’s United Methodist Church and enjoyed sharing his musical gifts with the Sanctuary Choir. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Earle, and sister, Ruth Hunter. He is survived by his mother, Arless Earle, his wife of 51 years, Margaret Earle, and their children: Leslie Albrecht (Royce) and David Earle (Lacey) as well as his grandchildren, Melanie & Natalie Albrecht and Rhys & Caelan Earle; his brothers Wayne Earle (Linda) and Lloyd Earle (Amy); nephews Greg Christian (Alison), Kristian Earle (Michelle), Steve Christian (Michelle), Brian Earle, Jacob Hunter (Jenn), Christopher Hunter (Veronica Valencia) and niece, Jayme Hunter (Robert Silguero) along with numerous cousins, great nieces & nephews. Visitation will be held September 9, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at Memory Gardens. The Memorial Service will be held September 10, 2016 at St. John’s UMC (5300 S. Alameda) 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. John’s UMC or to FB/PI/NAS Relay for Life (team: Frankly We Need a Cure) 4101 S. Alameda 78412.
