Gail Erekson Thrash, 54, passed away suddenly September 4, 2015. Gail was born in Refugio, Texas on August 30, 1961. Her proud parents were J Patrick and Nadine Clark Erekson. She naturally followed her parents and family members in the career path in Education. She received her Master’s in Special Education at Corpus Christi State University. Her passion was to work with disabled youth. She moved paths to Calallen ISD as an Educational Diagnostician and then continued her career with CCISD for the past 17 years.
Gail is preceded in death by her father, her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her mother, Nadine Erekson, her daughters, Erin Thrash (Andy) Deel and Karilyn Thrash, and the father of her children, Richard Thrash as well as her many close friends and family that she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m till 9:00 pm at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors.
