Genoveva C. Perez

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially all her grandchildren. She also loved working on puzzles, coloring and word searches.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Rodolfo Cardiel, Jr. and sister, Edelmira Cardiel.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 58 years, Raymond V. Perez; daughters, Janie C. Solis (Santiago), Evangelina P. Ramon (Robert), Mercy P. Lopez (Oscar), Josie P. Molina; son, Rudy Ray Perez (Mary Alice); fifteen grandchildren thirty-four great –grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brothers, John Cardiel and Julian Cardiel; sisters, Maria Guadalupe Zepeda, Susie Rodriguez, and Josie Muñoz; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A special thanks to all Dr.’s, nurses who helped with her care. A very special thanks from the bottom of our hearts to Legacy Hospice Staff, especially Ben, Monty and R.N. Amy.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be John M. Perales, Rudy J. Barrera, Mateo Sarabia, Oscar F. Lopez, Pedro D. Lopez, Arturo A. Lopez, Diego C. Solis and Daniel C. Solis.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 17, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p. m. at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
