She was born in De Queen, Arkansas on March 5, 2026, and later made her home in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she lived life on her own terms and was known for her warm spirit and kind heart. She enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life meaningful, watching her favorite westerns on television, taking a good stroll through Macy’s, and sitting down to enjoy a great meal. One of her greatest joys was spending time at the beach, where the sound of the waves and the ocean breeze always brought her peace.

Above all, she treasured time with her family. She is survived by her beloved children: Kim Turner; Kelly (Ron) Parks; Eric (Christy) Ashcraft; Chris (Heather) Ashcraft; and Stephanie (Ronnie) Forney. She was a proud grandmother to Jessica, Tyler, Revan, Hunter, Clay, Jake, Shawna, Jordan, and Christopher, and a loving great-grandmother to Wynn, Clementine, and Hunter Lee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Carl Erickson.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her independent spirit, and the love she shared with those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
