Geraldine Flournoy, 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on November 9, 2022. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 19, 1933 to Jasper and Lila Hornsby. Jerrie graduated from Miller High School.
She married Denton W. Flournoy on June 11, 1951. Jerrie was a homemaker and loved sports, cooking and Bible study.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Denton W. Flournoy. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Voyles, Stuart Flournoy and Scott Flournoy; grandchildren, Kayla Flournoy and Kelsey Hill; brother, Dale Hornsby.
Jerrie will be missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Geraldine will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. An entombment will occur Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:15 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
