Gloria Martinez

She was born in Alice Texas on March 31, 1947. She graduated from Premont, Texas. After graduation, she received a degree from Stevenson’s Beauty School.

Gloria married Don Martinez on June 25, 1975 in Concepcion, Texas.

She was a member of Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Gloria also did volunteer work at Spohn Hospital for many years. She had a passion for baking and decorating cakes for wedding and quinceneras. She had many talents for crafting. Gloria loved spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Candido and Adela Ramirez; husband of 40 years, Don Martinez and sister, Natalia Ramirez Gonzalez.

Gloria is survived by her brother, Israel (Imelda) Ramirez and numerous nieces and nephews.

Public visitation will be from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, Texas and will continue with a rosary at 11:30 a.m. at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. A funeral mas will be celebrated at 12pm that same day. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 2 p.m.
