Gonzalo Castillo passed away in the comfort of his home and was reunited with his late daughter, Consuelo, in God's kingdom on March 15, 2022 Corpus Christi, Tx. He was born on January 10 1946 in Edinburg Tx. He gave his life to the Lord in 1980 and was a church member of Coastline Baptist Church in his recent years. He began his truck driving career in 1971 & forced to retire in 1999.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Anna Castillo, a son JR, daughters Mary and Belinda and 10 grandsons: Julio Cesar Hidalgo Il. Gonzalo Castillo Hidalgo, Jesus Manuel Hidalgo, Jay Manuel Avalos, Jordan Alexander Avalos, Draven Elijah Avalos, Tristan Alexander Castillo, Trey Andres Castillo, Timothy Connor Castillo, and Arturo Gonzales Ill.
A public visitation will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, with a chapel service to start at 2 pm. A graveside service will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 3 pm.
