He was born on May 22, 1930 in Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Aurora Puente who passed on December 2010. He will be dearly missed by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He lived in Riverside California before coming to Corpus Christi in 2004.
He is survived by his daughter, Diana P. Gatlin (David) of Moreno Valley, California; one son, Oscar Puente of San Bernardino, California; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and other family members.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 8:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
