Guillermo "Willie" Castillo Jr.

Willie was born on August 23, 1970 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Guillermo and Ofelia Castillo Sr.He graduated from W.B. Ray High School in 1990. He was employed with Thomas Tools / Schlumberger Company where he worked for more than 15 years. Guillermo was a great family man and loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He had a love for his horses and racing them. He enjoyed spending time doing BBQs at the ranch with family and friends. His family and friends will always remember him as an outgoing, crazy, fun, and loving person; and will always do for others than himself. As he would always say “God is GOOD, and everything is OK.” (Thumbs up)

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Atanacio and Agapita Castillo and maternal grandparents Luis and Santiaga Garcia Ramirez.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Joann Castillo; his children, Brianna Castillo, Brittany Castillo, Guillermo Castillo III; his parents, Guillermo and Ofelia Castillo Sr.; his sibling, Esther (Hector) Garcia, Gilbert Castillo and Jose Guadalupe Castillo (Maritza).

Viewing for immediate family members will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Visitation for public will resume at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 6:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
