

Harry Sanchez passed away on January 4, 2016 at the age of 77. He was born on September 28, 1938 in Corpus Christi, TX. Harry honorably served the U.S. Army for 22 years, retiring as Master Sgt. He also retired from CCAD after 17 years of civilian service. He was also the Commander of American Legion Post 28 for 14 years. After retirement Harry was able to enjoy spending more quality time with his loving wife and family. He loved to fish and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gorgonio and Tomasa Navarro; two brothers, Juan and Adan Reyes and a sister, Maria Reyes. Harry is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Maria Minerva Sanchez; four sons, Harry Sanchez Jr., Raul (Esmeralda) Sanchez, Mikel (Cindy) Sanchez and Terry (Deborah) Sanchez; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Esteven Reyes, Justo Reyes and Ronald Navarro; four sisters, Yolanda, Monica, Hortencia and Lucrecia. Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Chapel service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
