Hector Maldonado Lopez

Hector Maldonado Lopez, 75 years old of Corpus Christi, TX gained his wings on January 11,2025. Born to Samuel Chacon Lopez and Lillia Maldonado Lopez on September 3, 1949 in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, graduated to the first class of Foy H Moody HS in 1968 which he was proud of," Go Trojans" and" VIVA Moody" he would tell me and text me. He went to serve our country and joined the US Army. In his service in the Army he was in the signal corps, gained some awards and had top secret crypto clearance, at that time only few in the Army had that high of clearance and he was selected more than once to get that clearance. On his journey he was introduced by his mom to a beautiful young lady working at a western store, there he met his eternal love Juanita Ramirez and they were later married on May 1, 1971.They had their first child Annette Lopez at Fort Bragg North Carolina. They moved back to South Texas after he was discharge and started life and family. They had four kids Annette Lopez, Cynthia A Lopez, Xavier H Lopez, and Lynette N Lopez. Ashley R. Pacheco was also a daughter to them and sister to us. They loved their family and had open doors for all family and friends. He was like a second father to many family and friends. He loved spending time all his family, fishing, and listened to all types of music , but Tejano was his favorite. He is again reunited with his parents, his eternal love Juanita, and their first born Annette. He is survived by Cynthia A Lopez of Corpus Christi, Xavier and Olivia Lopez of Utah, Lynette Lopez and Mario Garcia of Corpus Christi, Ashley R Pacheco of Corpus Christi, as well as his siblings Samuel M and Mary Lopez of Center Point TX, Adolfo M Lopez of Corpus Christi, and Pastors Tommy and Arnold Zuniga Sr of Corpus Christi. He also is survived by his grand babies Celeste Guerrero , Alexis Y Lopez , Jasmine N Lopez , Calista Guerrero , Xavier J Lopez , Cesar Guerrero , Alyssa A Lopez , Diego Figueroa, and Kaelyn Garcia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends , and he had a special love for all his sister and brother in laws, always loved you like one of his own.

A visitation for Hector will be held Monday, January 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405.
