Irma R. Lopez

Irma R. Lopez, 87, passed away on March 6, 2026. She was a cherished, faithful, humorous woman whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and steady comfort to those around her. Irma lived in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Born in Falfurrias on May 20, 1938, Irma carried her roots with pride and built a life grounded in love, resilience, and deep devotion.

Irma was married to Eulalio Lopez on March 7, 1955. A devoted housewife, she raised six children, pouring her heart into her home and family with unwavering care and strength.

Irma had a passion for her family and her faith. She was known for her great sense of humor, her love of music and singing, and especially for being easy to talk to- encouraging, and always ready with good advice when it was needed most. Her legacy lives on in the stories shared, the lessons remembered, and the love she gave so freely.

Irma is preceded in death by her husband, Eulalio Lopez; her sons, Richard Lopez and Samuel Lopez; her mother, Herminia Pena; her father, Raul Ramirez; and sisters and brothers: Alma Huerta, Raul Ramirez Jr., Rene Martinez, and Resendo Martinez.

Irma is survived by her children: Eulalio Lopez Jr, San Juanita Garcia, Robert Lopez, DeeDee Charles (Raul); her brothers and sisters: Rufino Martinez, Dalia Soliz, Rogelio Martinez, Hermalinda Cruz; and numerous cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Janie Garcia, Priscilla Garcia, Yvonne Lopez, and Becky Guzman, as well as the Opus staff, including Nurses Alexis, Tasha, and Leslie.

Public visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel, 4901 Everhart Road Corpus Christi, Texas with a chapel service at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery.
