Irma Lucia Mora

Irma graduated from Tuloso Midway High School in 1967 before going on to attend Del Mar College, receiving her associates degree in early childhood education. She married the love of her life Porfirio Z. Mora on April 13, 1969 in Corpus Christi Texas. Irma had a long successful career as an administrative assistant until her retirement in 2007. She found great joy in traveling and any time spent with her family whom she loved dearly and always held up in prayer.

Irma was preceded in eternal rest by her beloved husband, Porfirio Z. Mora; daughter, Michelle Marie Mora; Son, Porfirio Juan Mora "P.J." and her mother Rosa Maria Serna.

Left to cherish the beautiful memory of Irma are her loving children, Celia Mora (Mario), Jacqueline Mora, Charlie Mora; Grandchildren, Eric Escamilla, Christian Palacios, Hannah DeLeon, Diego Mora, Grayson Mora, Joshua Mora, Noah Valadez-Mora; Great Grandchildren, Marina Escamilla, George Hartman, Iiro Escamillal, Saylor and Gabriella Grace Palacios.

The Mora family would like to give a special thank you to father Hanh and all those who prayed for their beloved mother.

A holy rosary for Irma will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 3502 Saratoga Blvd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415 with a funeral mass from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A committal service will follow from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, Texas.
