Jana Lee Wright, 47, went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2010. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on October 8, 1962 to Dexter and Caron Wright. She was preceded in death by her mother.Jana is survived by her father, Dexter Wright; children, Christopher Wright and Johnathan Wright; sister, Kimberly Jackson (Phillip); Glen Wright; nieces, Jennifer Jackson and Brittany Green (Nathan); maternal grandmother, Helen Jernigan; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.Jana was a loving daughter and mother that will be missed by everyone that knew her. She was formerly employed at Corpus Fire and Safety and Fun Time Tours/ Coach America.Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 17, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. A funeral service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, January 18, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.The family wishes to give a special thanks to the staff of Spohn Memorial Hospital, 5th floor, for the love and care they showed Jana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spohn Memorial Hospital.
