Jeanette Rose, 91, passed away on September 23, 2011. She was born in Chiefland, Florida on June 18, 1920 to George Washington and Viola Fletcher and moved to Texas in the 1950’s. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Rose; and children, Nellie Payne, Minta Thenot, and David Mills.
Survivors include her daughters, Charlene (Ed) Miller and Carol Allen both of Jacksonville, Florida, Judy (Paul) Moore of Corpus Christi, Texas with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2011 at Seaside Memorial Park.
