Luella Jean Smalley Harris of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on October 17, 2020. She was born in Boone, Iowa on November 23, 1931.

She was married to William C. Brubaker (deceased) and Fred W. Harris (deceased). Jean had a career as a mother and housewife. She had a passion for art, nature and animals.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a son, Russell (Buddy) Brubaker.

She is survived by her children, Don (Wilma) Brubaker, Dianne Brubaker, Bill (Susan) Brubaker and Dixie Brubaker. Grandchildren, Kate McNutt, Cheri Clark, DeAnna Sparks, Lorri Lenz, Aaron Smith-Barry, Janice DeReese, Steve Smith-Barry and 11 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday October 30, 2020 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
