He was born in Houston, Texas on January 17, 1961 to Edward and Patricia (Murray) Hopkins who have preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Ashlee Hopkins; one son, Allan Hopkins; one brother, Scott Hopkins, all of Corpus Christi; one niece, Shae Garza and one nephew, Sean Hopkins.
Jeffrey was a graduate of Richard King High School. He was a Proud Veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division (Screaming Eagles.)
Jeff was a security officer at the Twin Dolphins Condominiums. He enjoyed his time there and was very fond of all the residents there. He had a huge passion for NHRA Drag Racing, Classic Muscle Cars and cars in general, Motorcycles and he also enjoyed working/ restoring both. He had an extensive collection of movies and music CDs consisting of mostly classic rock. He loved the San Antonio Spurs as well as the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with family and friends and his children are his pride and joy. He spent as much time as he could with them. We will miss him always and he will forever be in our hearts.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors on May 31st, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers we would appreciate a fond memory or story you have of our dad so we can always remember how wonderful and meaningful he was to all of you. We will have cards available for you when you visit. We hope to see you for our dad’s “see ya later” gathering.
