Jeremiah De La Rosa

Jeremiah De La Rosa, age 43, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025. Born on January 11, 1982, in his beloved hometown of Corpus Christi, Jeremiah spent his life surrounded by family, laughter, and the things he loved most.

On February 14, 2000, he married the love of his life, Roxann Tanya Salinas.

Jeremiah had a spirited love for life. He found joy in the simple things—casting a line while fishing, diving into a good video game, sitting at the poker table, listening to his favorite music, escaping into nature, and being creative with his hands through woodworking. These were not just hobbies, but expressions of him.

Above all, Jeremiah was a devoted father and proud grandfather. He leaves behind his wife, Roxann; cherished children: Persephone Salinas, Sabina De La Rosa, and Jeremiah De La Rosa, Jr., and his precious granddaughter, Millennia Rose Salinas, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also lovingly remembered by his father, Ruben Roberto De La Rosa, Sr.; brothers, Ruben Robert De La Rosa, Jr. (Monica Lynn Elizondo) and Jaime Eduardo De La Rosa, and sister, Cynthia Ann Huerta (Rafael Huerta). His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Sabina Flores De La Rosa.

A visitation for Jeremiah will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. An interment will occur Wednesday, May 14, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:25 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
