

He was born December 25, 1938 in Houston, Texas to Valentin Ramos and Carlota Infante Ramos.
Jesse served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and retired, September 5, 1975 as a signalman on several ships and Aircraft Carriers. He was also a Nueces County Deputy Constable with Pct. 1 for 12 years.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will forever cherish his memory.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Angel, Johnny, and sister Margaret.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Mary of 54 years; daughters, Mary Lou and her husband Stu of Iowa; Nonie of Texas and Jessica (Mike); sons, Louis and his wife Brenda and Robert and his wife Lorraine of Texas; brother, Valentin and sisters, Mary Gutierrez, Lena Caballero, Dolores Chapa, Luz Salazar; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He will be missed. But we know he is in a better place and will never suffer again.
Honoring him as pallbeareres will be Stu Guthridge, Chance Guthridge, Ryan Ramos, Mike Richardson, J.R. Ramos, Louis Ramos and honorary pallbearers Michael Richardson and Robert Ramos.
The family extends special thanks to Angel Bright Hospice, Dr.’s and Nurses at Christus Spohn Shoreline and Mirador Skilled Nursing.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 4:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. Services will be at 10:00 a.m., January 9, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
