Jesus lived a life rooted in love, family, and simple joys. He enjoyed listening to music, working with his hands, and took great pride in being “Uncle Jesse” to the many nieces and nephews who adored him. His kind heart, steady presence, and quiet humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Abram R. and Maria T. Garcia.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Miguel (Carmen) Sanchez, Luis (Lydia) Sanchez, Rosa M. DeLaRosa, Maria L. Sanchez, Rafael Garcia, and Ana L. Contreras.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Rosie Martinez, Terry Barron, Miguel Jr. Sanchez, Melissa Sanchez, Diana M. Sanchez, Yvette Sanchez, Laura Sanchez, Jay Sanchez, Ashley DeLaRosa, Ralph Contreras, Cody Contreras, and Megan Garcia; as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who brought joy to his life.
Jesus will be remembered for the love he shared, the warmth he offered, and the legacy he leaves in the hearts of his family.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78415, on December 17, 2025, starting at 10:00 am.
A Memorial Service will follow at the same venue on December 17, 2025, beginning at 12:00 pm.
The Rite of Committal and Inurnment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery on December 17, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
