

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaias De La Rosa, Sr. and Maria Santos De La Rosa; mother-in-law, Maria Cruz Mireles.
Joe was a welder for 48 years and a Dallas Cowboys diehard fan. He was known to be a master barbeque chef, and a stranger to no one, with a good sense of humor and loud laugh, and a wonderful “Popo” to his grandchildren.
Joe leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 37 years, Maria M. De La Rosa; sons, Jose M. (Valerie) De La Rosa, John I. (Ruby) De La Rosa; daughters, Josie D. (Frank) Reyes, JoAnn D. (Eloy) Rodriguez; brother, Isaias (Ana) De La Rosa, Jr.; grandchildren, Desiree M. De La Rosa, Anthony X. Reyes, Eloy Jr., Arianna, and Joshua Rodriguez.
Visitation will begin at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly on March 10, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
