John David had a love for hunting and fishing, but mostly loved being around his family and friends.
John David is survived by his daughters, Lerena (Rocky) Recio, Leresa Gonzales and son Andrew Gonzales; his parents, Reymundo and Adela Gonzales; sisters, Lorraine (Patrick) Aguilar and Loretta (Ray) Villarreal; girlfriend, Gloria Blanco, and her children; granddaughters Ava and Sophie Recio; other close family members include Felix and Manuela DeLaPaz and Maria (John) Torres. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and many other close friends and family.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday, May 2, 2016 with a rosary to be recited that same evening at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
