Johnny Terrazas Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Johnny Terrazas, Sr. on January 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. He was 62 years old. Johnny was born on May 16, 1962, in Corpus Christi, to Inocencio and Dora Terrazas.

Johnny graduated from Richard King High School. In his early years, he had a passion for playing golf. He also loved to cook and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus, and he would also volunteer to mow the grounds at OLPH.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, Dora Terrazas; and grandparents, Juan and Simona Terrazas, and Noe and Virginia Perez.

Johnny is survived by his father, Inocencio Terrazas; children, Lily (Michael) Zint, JJ Terrazas, Priscilla (Hector Garcia) Terrazas; sisters, Sandra (David) Moya and Norma (Edgar) Sanchez; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Johnny will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline.

A public visitation for Johnny will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A holy rosary will occur Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 7:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5830 Williams Dr, Corpus Christi, Texas 78412. A committal and interment will at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
