Jorge Luis Perez, 57, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on February 3, 2021. He was born in Laredo, Texas on July 10, 1963 to Pedro Perez and Norma Garcia. He graduated from Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was married to his lifetime sweetheart, Sophie Perez. Jorge had a career in the air conditioning industry working for McNatt Air Conditioning Company.
He was a member of St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Corpus Christi. His favorite pastime was watching Dallas Cowboy football games.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Norma Perez; sisters, Elizabeth Perez, Raquel Perez and Angelica Perez; brother, Rudy Perez and step-daughter, Irene Franco.
He is survived by his wife, Sophie Perez; God-daughter, Angela Cano; children, Mary Jo Garcia and Robert Alaniz and numerous grandchildren.
He will be missed by his sisters, Mary (Fred) Vallejo, Ana (Bobby) Hernandez, Thelma (Joe) Cano, Terry Perez and Veronica Perez and brother, Peter (Gloria) Perez.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 12:30 PM with Holy Rosary recited at 1:30 PM. Funeral Service will follow at Memory Gardens at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
