He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Delfina Pizaña; sisters, Zoila Gonzalez, Carmen Pizaña; brothers, Manuel Pizaña, Sr., and Julian Pizaña, Jr.
He is survived by his brothers, Pedro (Eva) Pizaña, of Victoria,Texas, Rafael (Maureen) Pizaña of Portland, Oregon; sisters, Guadalupe (Felix) Cantu and Diamantina Aguilar both of Corpus Christi, Maria Rosa (Guadalupe) Gonzalez of Salem, Oregon, Gloria (Armando) Caceres, Norma Lucio and Veronica Rios all of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Andrew Sandoval, Joey Aguilar, Tino Lucio, Gilbert Lucio, Hector Pizaña and Julian Pizaña.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly Chapel. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2011 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
