He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He then started with the Army Depot and Retired in 1977 as an aircraft mechanic. He loved music and spending time with his beloved family.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Angelita Saldana.
He is survived by his son, David (Frances)Saldana; his daughters, Dianne (Mark) Mireles, Denise (Eric) Holcomb: his grandchildren, Marie Saldana, Anthony Saldana, Teresa Roxburgh, Paul Mireles, Philip Mireles, Olivia Holcomb; surviving sisters, Cora Leal and Maria Guadalupe Ramos.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 5:00p.m. at Cage-Mills Funeral Home a rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Cage Mills Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors.
