Juanita Fern Howell, age 93, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on July 9, 2025. She was born in Wichita Kansas, on August 27, 1931, to parents, Eldon and Mabel (Hageman) Mize. She was married to Edward Howell in Wichita, Kansas. Juanita had a career in Real Estate and worked for the Church, until she retired. She was a proud member of the First Baptist Church in Corpus Christi.
She is preceded in death by husband, Edward; parents, Eldon and Mabel (Hageman) Mize; brother, Harold Mize; brother, Nolan Mize; sister, Marjorie Williams; and her daughter, Deanna Skillings.
She is survived by her son, Archie Doyle Jr, and his wife, Elaine; son-in-law, Richard Skillings; grandchildren, Archie III and his wife, Mary, and Kimberly Doyle Grice; and great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Ashtyn Grice, and Hunter Doyle.
Juanita requested there be no funeral services. She will be interred with her Husband, Edward at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas.
I, Archie, wish to state that I observed a strikingly beautiful full rainbow the day following her passing. I am confident this sight symbolizes my mother's peaceful rest in Heaven.
