Juanita Euresti Lopez

Juanita E. Lopez, a beloved mother and strong women, passed away peacefully at home in Corpus Christi, Texas, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at the age of 76. She was born April 20, 1948, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Petra R. Eureste and Tomas Eureste.

Juanita, was known for her kind personality and her faith left an impact on all who knew her. She enjoyed a cup of coffee every morning, also found joy in cooking for her family and others, and playing bingo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Petra R. Eureste and Tomas Eureste; her husband, Adan Lopez, Sr.; a brother, Servando Eureste; sisters, Otilia E. Villela and Lucinda E. Pena.

Left to cherish Juanita’s memory are her sister, Oralia E. Guevara; sons, Adan (Laura) Lopez, Jr., Gilbert Lopez, Ernest (Mary) Lopez, and Thomas Lopez, Sr.; daughters; Diana Lopez and Maryjane (Santiago G.) Lopez; grandchildren, Adan (Brandi H.) Lopez, III, Thomas Lopez, Jr., Meagan Lopez, Lauren Lopez, Christopher Lopez, Nicholas Lopez, Kendall Lopez, John Carlos Lopez, Natalie Lopez, and Zayanna Gonzalez, great grandchildren; Jonah Lopez, Micah Lopez, Noah Lopez, and Adan Jeremiah Lopez all of Corpus Christi, Texas; and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. Friday, March 7, 2025, the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church located at 1101 Bloomington St, Corpus Christi, TX 78416. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
