

Leonard J. Saddler, 78, passed away at his home on January 5, 2014 from a year-long battle with cancer. Leonard was born July 10, 1935 in Huddleston, West Virginia to Leonard and Lori Saddler. He was a devoted husband and loving father, with a passion for NASCAR and short-track racing. Leonard proudly served his country for 22 years in the United States Army, 10 years at Tuloso-Midway ISD, and 15 years with the United States border patrol.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lori, dad Leonard, three sisters Stella, Betty, Shirley, and four Brother's Gary, Lacey, Freddie, Donald, and son-in-law Sherman E. Penny, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Dolores of 54 years. One brother Ed (Audrey) Saddler of Bradley West, Virginia, two sisters Aretta Bowman of Dallas Texas, and Cathy (Robert) Whitt of Amigo West, Virginia. Three children, Rick (Terry) Saddler of Springfield, Missouri, Tina (Mike) Moore of Kilgore, Texas, Ron (Heidi) Saddler of Prattville, Alabama; eight grandchildren and four great- children, Trey (Rachel) Penny of Elk City, Oklahoma, Alexis (Randall) Tillman of Yukon, Oklahoma, Cory (Rachel) Saddler of Anchorage, Alaska, Travis Penny of Corpus Christi, Texas, Matt Anderson of Springfield, Missouri, Eryn Saddler of Prattville, Alabama, Mike Anderson of Springfield, Missouri, Haley Saddler of Prattville, Alabama; great grandchildren, Carson Phillips of Yukon, Oklahoma, , Tyler Tillman of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Alyssa Tillman of Brookhaven, Mississippi, Carl Shooter Tillman of Brookhaven, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m .
Funeral services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday January 11, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
