Leonor A Gomez

Leonor Arriaga Gomez, 91, passed away on July 17, 2011. She was born on July 3, 1920, in Mexico to Abran and Cecilia Arriaga. She was the last surviving member of her family. She was known as “TIA” and was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and was a friend to all. She loved being outdoors working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecilia and Abran Arriaga; her sister, Petra Arriaga; and brothers, Sisto, Ascension, Eusebio, Thomas, Julio, Abel, George, and Johnny Arriaga.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane Estringel; grandchildren, Erik Estringel, Melissa Estringel; great granddaughter, Celeste Estringel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 with a rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. that same evening at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors, 4901 Everhart Road. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5620 Gollihar Road, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
