Lorenzo Garcia passed away at the age of 82 on November 28, 2020. He was born in Victoria, Texas to the late Lorenzo & Maria Garcia. Lorenzo was married to his beloved wife of 61 years Eusebia Zertuche Garcia.
He worked for King & Isles Construction for over 30 years as a foreman. Lorenzo was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He had a love for woodworking, watching old western movies and collecting John Wayne memorabilia. Lorenzo was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and especially enjoyed having all his children around him.
Lorenzo is preceded in death by (son) Michael Lee Garcia, (brother) Andres Garcia, (sisters) Juanita, Maria Luisa, Beatrice, Cecilia and (great-granddaughter) Savannah Lorraine.
He is survived by his wife Eusebia Zertuche Garcia, daughter, Maria Isabel Garcia, son, Lorenzo Garcia III (Carmen), daughter, Cynthia Ann Zaragosa (Johnny), sons, Juan Antonio Garcia(Yvette), and Emilio Andres Garcia (Debra).
(Sixteen) Grandchildren: Rene Jr.(Yvonne), Christina (David), Gabriel, Izak, Michael, Cassandra (Erik), Monica (Steven), Adan (Lizeth), Cyana, Nathaniel, Aimie, Juan Antonio Jr., Ariana, Alyssa, Abigail, Amelia, (26)Great-Grandchildren: Miranda, Briana, Aryel, Benny, Kylie, Emily, Bradley, Nya, Jace, Jol, Jakob, Victoria, Elijah, Logan, Christian, Matthew, Delilah, Shawn, Brandon, Bruce, Sophia, McKenzie, Leah, Ximena, Aythen & Ariah. (2)Great-Great-Grandchildren: Bella & Brielle. And numerous nieces and nephews.
We will truly miss you Dad, Grandpa, our rock. May God wrap his arms around you and give you peace as you watch over us. We love you!
Family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 1:30 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
