It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucia Tanguma, 87, of Corpus Christi, Texas. Lucia entered eternal rest on Friday, January 24, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Concepcion, Texas on September 16,1937 to the late Jose Maria & Leonor Garcia Tanguma.
Lucia found joy in simple things, as a faithful woman of God, she loved praying the rosary and reading scripture from her bible. Lucia was joined in eternal peace by her loving parents; Jose Maria and Leonor Garcia Tanguma, siblings; Juan Tanguma, Mary Hernandez, Armando Tanguma, Ramona Garcia, and her grandson; James Tanguma Jr.
Left to cherish the precious memory of Lucia Tanguma is her son; James (Christina) Tanguma, grandson; Marcus J. Tanguma, siblings; Nora Perez, and Jose Maria (Evelyn) Tanguma.
Lucia was loved by all who had the honor of knowing her, and will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Lucia will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411, followed by a holy rosary at 7:00 PM.
