Lucy worked as a CNA for Sunny Brook Nursing Home in the 1980’s and for Spohn Shoreline in the 1970’s. She was a member of Saint Patrick Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Juan P. Martinez; son, Juan Martinez, Jr.; Daughter, Roseann M. Motoya. She is survived by daughters, Lucy (Manuel) Villarreal, Nellie (Ruben) Sierra, Grace Lynn (Victor) Gonzalez, Rosie Martinez, and Ida (Armando) Escatiola; sons, Henry (Myrella) Martinez, Jesus (Abigail) Martinez, and Jesus Antonio (Tony) Martinez; 33 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Mary De La Paz and 4 brothers.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 25, 2002 at 12:30. Rosary will be recited at 1:30 pm and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm. Inurnment immediately following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
