Luis served in the United States Air Force. He was a loving and dedicated husband to Alva Elva and a loving father to Luis Jr., Marie, Mark, Carlos, Anna, Rosa, Joseph, Sandra, George and Almalisa. He is also survived by his seven brothers and sisters, 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited that evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
