Luis Lauro Rubio

Luis L. Rubio, age 53, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 2, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 25, 1967 in Corpus Christi, TX and was a Security Officer at Citgo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Refugio V. Rubio, and brothers, Mario Rubio, Mark Rubio and Miguel Rubio.

He leaves behind his wife of 26 years Estella Rubio; son, Daniel L. Rubio (Jacqueline Hernandez); sisters, Maria. E. Rubio, M. Rose Gonzalez (Fernando), and brothers, Raymond Valenzuela (Diana) and George Rubio; along with a number of nieces, nephews, great nephews and great niece.

Luis loved playing his guitar, listening to music and loved spending time with his puppy Audi.

We would like to give our thanks to everyone for their love, support and all the prayers. We would like to especially thank the Reyes, Romero, Godinez, Mendick and Lopez families for always being there when he called.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 12:30 PM. Holy Rosary will be recited at 1:30 PM with funeral services to follow at 2:00 PM. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
