Lydia graduated from Goliad High School and received a cosmetology certificate from Bee County College Beeville, Texas.
She worked in Cosmetology for Fisher’s Hair Salon in Corpus Christi, Texas. Lydia had a passion for family, religion and Food & Craft shows.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Emilio Mendoza Jr.
She is survived by her daughter’s, Jessica Renee Gutierrez and Felicia Renee Ramos; 1 grandchild, Noah Xavier Gutierrez; her brothers and sisters, Sylvia Villarreal, Yolanda Rubio, John Mendoza, Susan Salazar, Robert Mendoza, Joe Mendoza, Larry Mendoza, Irma Ybarbo, Brenda Mendoza and Richard Mendoza.
Visitation was held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, September 15, 2017 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church with a Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
