Mike was a very loving and giving person, an excellent cook and loved horses. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents Ricardo and Carmen Gutierrez; brother-in-law, Leonardo Ruiz and his niece, Isabel Sanchez.
Mike is survived by his siblings: Ruben Gutierrez (Helen), Yolanda Ruiz and Rudy Gutierrez (Josie). He also leaves behind to cherish his memory three nephews, David Ruiz, Richard Gutierrez and Roel (Jessica) Gutierrez, a niece, Pattie Ruiz and several great-nieces and nephews.
Family will be receiving friends from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel-549 Cheyenne with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Burial will be private at a later date.
