Maria Luisa "Lulu" Jimenez Gonzalez

She graduated from Foy H. Moody High School in 1983. Lulu was dedicated employee for 28 years at Church’s Fried Chicken.

Lulu was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and companion. She enjoyed going to the movies, bar-b-queing, watching soap operas and sports. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her faith, family and her compassion towards others.

Lulu is preceded in death by her father Arturo Jimenez, maternal grandparents Benjamin and Felicitas Sosa and paternal grandparents Jose and Carolta Jimenez. Lulu is survived by her mother Maria S. Jimenez, children; Arturo Gonzalez, Jody Gonzalez, Ernesto Martinez Jr. and her companion of 13 years Ernesto Martinez, two brothers; Arturo (Linda) Jimenez, Emilio Jimenez, four sisters; M. Tina Chapa, M. Frances(Wally) Ortiz, M. Patsy Jimenez, M. T.J. (Alonzo) Jimenez-Briseño.

Visitation will be at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral service will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
