She was preceded in death by her parents and her 17 siblings.
She is survived by her sister Marla de Jesus Zapata of San Antonio, Texas; her husband Leonardo Marroquin; as well as many loving relatives and friends.
Maria was a longtime member of the Brawner Parkway Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.
A Talk will be held on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. On December 28, 2011 at 10:00 am will be another Talk followed by internment at Rosehill Memorial Park Cemetery.
