Maria De Jesus C. Sanchez passed away on October 26, 2011, she was 78. She was born December 18, 1932 in Kingsville, Texas to Guadalupe Chapa and Braulia Alanis.
She is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Braulia Chapa; her two sisters, Julia Garcia and Petra Chapa; her four brothers, Evaristo , Gilberto, Domingo and Guillermo "Willie” Chapa; one daughter, Norma Trevino; three sons, Jimmy Sanchez, Rey Trevino and Johnny Sanchez.
Maria leaves behind to cherish her memories; three daughters, Florestela Sanchez, Yolanda (Ralph) Coleman and Margarita Sanchez; one son, Roque (Irene) Sanchez; brother Acencion Chapa from Dallas,Texas; 16 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2011, with a Rosary to be recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne Street. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow to Rose Hill Cemetery.
