Nelson Brent Chlidress passed away on September 12, 2011, at the age of 67 yrs. old. Nelson was born November 9, 1943, to William R. Childress, Sr. and Matilde Gutierrez Childress. Nelson leaves behind to cherish his memories, his two loving brothers, Benjamin (Mary Ann) Childress and William Oliver (Theresa) Childress and his three loving sisters, Olivia Baker, Mary Elizabeth Inman, and Ilma Childress, numerous nieces and nephews, Cedric Byron Childress( his nephew/brother), his ex-sisters-in law, Elia Towle and Alicia Cuevas, and a host of loving friends. A Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, Texas.
