Nicolas "Pali" Palacios Sr.

Nicolas “Pali” Palacios Sr. passed away June 1, 2018. He was born on November 28, 1930 in Concepcion, Texas to Victoriano and Nicolasa S. Palacios. Nicolas was a long time resident of Corpus Christi and retired from Rainbow Bakery after working there for 37 years. He loved being at the ranch and caring for horses. Nicolas was devoted to his family and will be dearly missed.

Nicolas is preceded in death by his parents, Victoriano and Nicolasa S. Palacios; brothers, Victoriano Palacios Jr. and Gil Palacios; and sister, Dolores P. Torres.

He is survived by his children, Sylvia Bosquez (Andy Flores) and Nick Palacios Jr. (Rosie); grandchildren, Yvette Gamboa, Candice Szepessy and Angelina Palacios; 2 brothers, Delfino Palacios and Pablo Palacios; 1 sister, Romanita P. Alaniz; 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Pallbearers will be Emilio Bosquez, Jeremy Szepessy, Ram Gamboa, Victor Iracheta, Victor Iracheta Jr. and Justus Iracheta.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Rosehill Memorial Park.
