Odilia G. Valdez

Odilia loved her gardens and caring for her family, but most of all she loved to dance with her husband. She worked at the First Baptist Church on Ocean Dr. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she was loved and will be missed by all.

She is survived by Pearl (Raul) De Leon, Sylvia Garcia, Blanca (Robert) Sanchez, Odilia (Blas) Martinez, Rachel (Gerald) Escamilla, Jesusito (Jesusita) M. Valdez, Oralia (Rey) Rocha and Olivia (Javier) Tapia; her 31 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne St. Corpus Christi, Texas on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 21, 2015at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gene Velasquez, Michael Guzman, Jesusito M. Valdez, Jonathon R. Sturgeon, Robert Sanchez and Raul “Rocky” De Leon III.
