Olga R. Montemayor

Olga R. Montemayor, 76, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on August 5, 2012. She was born on October 25, 1935 to Pedro and Eudelia P. Rodarte in Corpus Christi, Texas. Olga was a strong and devoted loving mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by all her knew her. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rogelio G. Montemayor Sr., her parents, Pedro and Eudelia P. Rodarte; her brother, Pedro Rodarte Jr., and sister, Esmeralda Martinez. She is survived by her loving children; Rogelio Montemayor Jr., Diana Montemayor and Gilbert (Chris) Montemayor; her brothers and sisters, Santiago Sanchez, Ramiro Rodarte, Elma Rodarte, Mary Jane Velasquez. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. The family would like to thank The Palms Nursing home staff, especially Jose, Mike, Stephanie, Mary, Ricky and Trisha for the loving care and attention they gave our mother. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Chapel, 549 Cheyenne St. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. A funeral Mass will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
