Orelia Rubio Herrera

On May 10, 2017 our loving mother, Orelia R. Herrera was called on by our Lord Jesus Christ. Orelia worked for NCCC for 25 years and worked with numerous youth and elderly people. She loved volunteering and summer camp in Leakey, Texas. She is preceded in death by her sister, Maria Elena Rubio. Orelia is survived by her children, Sarita H. Mendoza, Samuel R. Herrera (Nancy), Simon R. Herrera, Soraya Ann Wayne (Bryn); grandchildren, Franky (Linda) Mendoza, Lisa Ann Mendoza, Jeremiah (Darleen) Mendoza, Stacie (Kristen) Herrera, Debbie (Ruben) Guevarra, Denise De Los Santos, Samantha Jules, Samuel Jose, Kevin Michael, Jessica; great grandchildren, Xia, Falin, Tristan, Aria, Jazmine, Kylie, Louie, Sammy Joe (Brianna), Paul Jr., Victoria; great-great grandchildren, Alaya, Krizstian and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 14, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
