He is preceded in death by his parents, Reynaldo Sandoval and Micol Gutierrez Sandoval; sister, Magdalena Lopez and brother, Richard Sandoval (Ester).
Pedro joined the U.S. Air Force in 1966 and served until 1970, where he was stationed in Alaska and California. He retired after 25 years as a dietary supervisor for Drs. Regional Hospital.
He will always be remembered as a great family man, husband, father and grandfather who was loved by everyone who knew him and will be dearly missed.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 42 years Pat Sanchez Sandoval; daughters, Stephanie Griffis (Andy)and Erika Sandoval; grandchildren, Rhianna, Evan, Payton, Jahggar and Dehlaynee Griffis and brothers, Exequiel Ceja, Reynaldo Sandoval, Jr. (Lucy) and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Silverman, Dr. Tavares and Dr. Martin.
Family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m., and funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 18, 2013, at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly chapel. Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
