Rafaela J. Garza

Rafaela will be remembered for her love of her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren for which she cared for dearly. She enjoyed spending her time gardening. Rafaela had very strong faith in her church, and was a Guadalupana. She also worked for West Oso I.S.D. as a cafeteria aid.

Rafaela is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Guadalupe R. Garza, her first grandson Christopher Delgado, and her three sisters; Agapita Hernandez, Maria Gatica, Isabel Ortiz, and one brother Antonio Jimenez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children; Irene Delgado (Manuel), Arturo Garza (Angie), Vangie Garza Valdez, Seferino Garza, grandchildren; Joe Delgado, Rigo Delgado, Andrew Garza, Anthony Garza, Robert Valdez, Eric Valdez, Eliza Valdez, Vallery Garza, Jennifer Garza, Seferino Garza Jr., Michael Garza, Antonia Garza, Sara Garza, and twelve great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brothers; Alfonzo Jimenez (Fidela), Geronimo Jiminez, sisters; Cayetana Martinez and Modesta Martinez. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 15 at Our Lady Of Pilar at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
