Ramona Cavazos

She was a devoted Catholic with strong faith in the Lord. She was a member of Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Ramona was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albino A. Cabazos; grandchildren, Isaiah Ryan and Mercy Cavazos.

She is survived by her children, Alvino (Renee) Cavazos, Jr., Raymond (Rose) Cavazos and Janie Cavazos; grandchildren, Tina, Alvino III, Raymond, Mercy, Faith, Anthony, Tiffany, Laura, Joseph and Andrew; 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Julio (Nena), Juan (Julia), Mariano (Rosalinda) and Fernando; sisters, Chencha (Chris), Lupe, Santos (Jose), Reyes, Julia (Willie) and Kika (Chispine); along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

The family would like to thank De Cielo Home Health Service, R.N. Vanessa, A.P.C. Rose Cavazos and private provider, Roxanne V. A special thanks to Dr. David Sutter and staff.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
